Meet The Game Tight Coaching Team
Coach Clarence Box founder of Game Tight Basketball in 1997 in Detroit, MI before relocating to Texas where he introduced Game Tight Basketball to the North Texas and DFW areas in 2008. Coach Box has been a successful Educator, Leader and Mentor of youth, Middle School and High School Basketball Coach for the past 25+ years. Over the years, Game Tight Basketball has nurtured and developed many players who went on to have successful High School and College careers. Coach Jordan Box was a 4-time All-District Performer at Frisco Heritage HS, who completed his career as the all-time school points scorer and District MVP in 2014. Coach Jordan went on to have a very successful College playing career at DII Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond, Oklahoma, where he became an All Conference performer, scoring more than 1,000 career points for his career.
Coach Jonathan Box had a successful High School playing career at Frisco Heritage HS where he was recruited to attend Choate/Rosemary Hall, college preparatory HS to complete a Post Graduate year under Coach Drew Dawson. Upon completion of his Post Graduate year, Jonathan was recruited to play college basketball at The University of Saint Joseph, where he contributed on 2-nationally ranked teams. Coach Jonathan is currently completing his Senior year as a student/athlete, scheduled to graduate in May of 2026, at Lasell University in Newton, Massachusetts. Upon graduation, Coach Jonathan plans to enter the education field with sights on becoming a High School Basketball Coach and Athletic Director. Jonathan has always been regarded as a coach on the floor for all the teams he has played on.​
